Cherry Plum 'Ruby'
Ruby produces the largest fruit out of all the mirabelles with an exceptionally sweet, almost peach like flavour. The fruit has a dark red flesh and the trees are upright in nature and partially self-fertile.
Cherry Plum trees are grafted on a St Julian ‘A’ rootstock and will reach an eventual height of 3.5-4.5m (12-15ft). Trees should be planted 3.5-4.5m (12-15ft) apart.
Available for delivery from late November until late March.
Please remember that fruit trees do require staking for the first few years of their life, we also strongly recommend the use of rootgrow™ when planting to encourage strong root growth and aid establishment.
