Bayer Fruit & Vegetable Disease Control (6 Sachet Pack)
A copper based, protective fungicide for the control of common fungal diseases affecting listed fruit and vegetable plants, including the control of damping off in seedlings. For use around gardens, orchards, vegetable gardens and greenhouses. One pack contains six sachets. (Active Ingrediant - Copper Oxychloride).
Targets -
Peach Leaf Curl - Spray in February before bud swell and repeat at autumn leaf full.
Apple & Pear Canker - To protect trees spray in autumn at or just before leaf fall, repeat at 50% leaf fall. If infection is severe repeat in spring before bud burst. Do not spray once young shoots emerge.
Cherry & Plum Bacterial Canker - To protect trees from infection during high rist periods spray 3 times in mid-August, mid-Septembr and mid-October. Spaying in August and Septembr may cause slight leaf damage.
Raspberry & Loganberry Cane Spot - Spray both fruiting and develping canes. Apply at bud burst and repeat in mid June and late June.
Blackcurrant, Redcurrant & Whitecurrant Rust - Apply after harvest where the disease is a problem.
Also treats Potato and Tomato Blight, Celery Leaf Spot and dampening off & footrot diseases of all edible and not edible gardening plants.
Morning or late afternoon is the best time to spray. Do not spray in bright sunshine. Plants should be sprayed when foliage is dry and the spray should have time to dry on the leaves before rainfall occurs. In some circumstances, crop damage may occur. It is advisable to treat a small number of plants of one species and check for symptoms before making large scale treatments.
