Pinkberry 'Pink Lemonade'
This attractive plant is certainly something that bit different as it produces deliciously sweet, but pink, blueberries.
In spring ‘Pink Lemonade’ displays white, bell-shaped flowers that are blushed pink followed by berries that turn from pale green to deep pink as the summer progresses, ready for picking during August. In autumn the spectacle continues as the foliage turns autumnal shades of golden yellow through to vibrant reds. Like blueberries 'Pink Lemonade’ requires an acid soil and is ideal for growing in containers using an ericacious compost. Although self-fertile a heavier crop may be produced if grown with a blueberry, to aid pollination, for which any of our blueberries would be suitable.
