Family Trees

Family trees are single trees composed of more than one variety. The need for a pollination partner can create difficulties in a small garden where there is room for only one tree. Growing a family tree can be the solution. A significant advantage with family trees is the ease with which bees will pollinate the whole tree and hence all varieties get a good fruit set.
