Gazanias

Gazanias, commonly called ‘Treasure Flowers’ in their native South Africa, are ideal for rockeries, borders and ground cover. They produce numerous very large brilliantly coloured daisy-shaped flowers. Their dazzling colour and beauty makes them stand out like precious jewels. Coming from the deserts of South Africa, Gazanias are extremely drought tolerant and are the perfect plants for poor soils or sandy corners in seaside gardens. They can also be planted in containers, hanging baskets, or at the front of borders. Gazanias should be treated as half-hardy perennials. Their only requirement is well drained soil and plenty of sunlight.
