Sweet Almond Trees (Bare-rooted)
The almond tree is not dissilmilar to a peach in its size, habit of growth, leaf form and flower. They are grafted on to St Julien 'A' rootstock and will get to a height and spread of 12-15ft (3.5-4.5m). Higher yields are obtained if trees are given a warm, sunny, sheltered position and because they flower early protection will be required against frosts.
Sweet almond trees are available from late November - March.
