Pear 'Invincible®' (delwimor*) (Mid)
This modern heavy cropping variety got its name because it is very hardy and reliable, setting crops each year it will often produce a second flowering, if the first flowers are destroyed after a heavy frost. The fruits are very large and can be used for dessert and culinary purposes.
Pear trees are grafted on a Quince 'A' rootstock and will reach an eventual height of 2.5-3.5m (8-12ft). Trees should be planted 3-4.5m (10-15ft) apart.
Please remember that fruit trees do require staking for the first few years of their life, we also strongly recommend the use of rootgrow™ when planting to encourage strong root growth and aid establishment.
