If you have missed out on the planting season for bare-rooted canes, then this pot grown raspberry collection is ideal and once established will provide you with delicious berries from mid July through to first frosts. Compared to bare-rooted canes, pot grown plants suffer virtually no transport shock and as weather conditions are more favourable when they are planted, they stand a much better chance of survival.

Plants are supplied in 9cm pots and the collection consists of two each of the following three varieties

Glen Fyne

This exceptional spine free mid summer raspberry has been consistently voted as the 'Best Flavoured Raspberry' by a panel of experts and produces high yields of excellent flavoured, bright red, conical shaped berries that are sweet and aromatic throughout the season.  They require a well drained soil and have good resistance to raspberry aphids the main carriers of virus.

A modern late summer variety that helps bridge the gap between summer and autumn fruiting varieties, producing abundant crops of extremely large, bright red berries with a superb flavour and an average weight of almost 7g each.  Canes are upright and virtually spine free, making picking easy.  The berries are delicious eaten fresh but are also excellent for freezing being both firm and sweet.

An outstanding autumn fruiting raspberry that produces exceptionally large, succulent fruits that have an intense aromatic flavour and will store well after picked. Polka commences to ripen in the third week of July, peaking in late August and continuing until the frosts. Extremely heavy cropping it also displays very good disease resistance.

Available for despatch from mid July until mid August, or while stocks last.
