A great variety for both home and allotment growing, because of its disease resistance.  Ben Gairn is the only variety resistant to reversion virus and also has excellent resistance to foliar diseases, so is ideal for organic growers.  Produces medium sized berries of an excellent flavour, it is one of the earliest varieties to fruit, cropping from the end of June until mid-late July.   Ideal for areas where bid bud/reversion is common.

Blackcurrants are available for delivery from late November to late March.

Please note - We strongly recommend the use of rootgrow™ when planting to encourage strong root growth and aid establishment.
